Bikram Yoga is a practical form of yoga that focuses on the achievement and maintenance of balanced health, a toned, firmed body and a sharp mind.

This system of yoga is an intelligently designed series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises performed in a room heated between 98-105 degrees.

This yoga works the entire body for ninety minutes, from the inside out, the macro to micro level using every system in the body. The heat promotes flexibility and sweating- the best way to rid the body of toxins. Bikram Yoga stretches and strengthens every muscle, ligament and joint in the body.

This sequence is designed as a progression to ensure that every posture warms up the muscles and joints used in the following posture. Additionally this yoga works the organs, glands and nervous system in a challenging, exciting and vigorous way. Bikram has been teaching his system of yoga in Los Angeles for over thirty years helping his students to improve their health and overall quality of life.
